Ndon\u00ebse rreziqet e jet\u00ebs e kishin shtyr\u00eb t\u00eb ikte n\u00eb m\u00ebrgim, shtypjet q\u00eb po i b\u00ebheshin popullit t\u00eb tij e detyruan t\u00eb kthehej n\u00eb vendlindje veprimtarin e madh, Sali \u00c7ekaj p\u00ebr t\u00eb iu bashkuar shok\u00ebve, burrave e grave n\u00eb radh\u00ebt e Ushtris\u00eb \u00c7lirimtare t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, atje n\u00eb Alpet Shqiptare, n\u00eb Koshare&#8221;, ka th\u00ebn\u00eb ai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Sali \u00c7ekaj, veprimtar i zellsh\u00ebm politik p\u00ebr lirin\u00eb dhe pavar\u00ebsin\u00eb e Kosov\u00ebs, jurist e ushtarak vizionar, u detyrua t\u00eb largohej nga vendi, p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb presionit e t\u00eb p\u00ebrndjekjes sistematike q\u00eb i b\u00ebnte regjimi okupues. Rezistenc\u00ebn e tij politike e nisi p\u00ebrmes aktivitetit n\u00eb Lidhjen Demokratike t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, krah Presidentit Historik dr. Ibrahim Rugova, ku bashk\u00eb me shum\u00eb veprimtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb t\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtjes komb\u00ebtare, u b\u00eb dhe organizator i jasht\u00ebzakonsh\u00ebm i shqiptar\u00ebve p\u00ebr t\u2019i ndihmuar ata materialisht e politikisht, p\u00ebr \u00e7lirimin e vendit. Megjith\u00ebse fillet e angazhimit t\u00eb Sali \u00c7ekajt p\u00ebr \u00e7\u00ebshtje komb\u00ebtare jan\u00eb t\u00eb hershme, ai qysh n\u00eb fillim t\u00eb viteve t\u00eb 90-ta ia kishte v\u00ebn\u00eb vetes objektiv \u00e7lirimin e Kosov\u00ebs. N\u00eb vitin 1991 Sali \u00c7ekaj ishte p\u00ebrgjegj\u00ebs p\u00ebr p\u00ebrgatitjen ushtarake t\u00eb dy grupeve t\u00eb para guerile n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri n\u00eb mesin e t\u00eb cil\u00ebve ishin Komandanti Legjendar, Adem Jashari, Zahir Pajaziti, Ilaz Kodra e shum\u00eb bashk\u00ebluft\u00ebtar\u00eb t\u00eb tjer\u00eb, ka th\u00ebn\u00eb tutje Abdixhiku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Po ashtu ai tha se figura dhe vepra e Sali \u00c7ekajt mbetet n\u00eb piedestalin e historis\u00eb s\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, nd\u00ebrsa kujtoi se ai \u00ebsht\u00eb nderuar me titullin \u201cHero i Kosov\u00ebs\u201d nga presidenti Rugova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAi bashk\u00eb me Agim Ramadanin ishin po ashtu edhe ideator\u00ebt e fitores s\u00eb madhe t\u00eb U\u00c7K-s\u00eb, n\u00eb shpartallimin e forcave serbe dhe thyerjes s\u00eb kufirit shqiptaro-shqiptar q\u00eb kishte mbajtur padrejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb ndar\u00eb nj\u00eb komb p\u00ebr vite t\u00eb t\u00ebra. Sali \u00c7ekaj me pun\u00ebn dhe p\u00ebrkushtimin e tij, prej politikani e ushtaraku vizionar, do t\u00eb mbetet p\u00ebrher\u00eb n\u00eb piedestalin e historis\u00eb ton\u00eb, prandaj dhe Presidenti Historik Rugova e nderoi me urdh\u00ebrin Hero i Kosov\u00ebs. Sot, kujtojm\u00eb dhe nderojm\u00eb rolin, kontributin e sakrific\u00ebn e tij sublime p\u00ebr liri e pavar\u00ebsi.
