N\u00ebn mbik\u00ebqyrjen teknike dhe t\u00eb nd\u00ebrtimit t\u00eb arkitektit Giovanni Rutelli, puna u krye nga themelet deri te konstruksionet e tavanit t\u00eb teatrit. S\u00eb bashku me arkitektin Don Maria Rutelli (st\u00ebrgjyshi i Giovanni-t), ata konsideroheshin nd\u00ebr ekspert\u00ebt m\u00eb teknik\u00eb dhe artistik\u00eb n\u00eb Si\u00e7ili n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb, ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb njohurive t\u00eb thella t\u00eb arkitektur\u00ebs s\u00eb lasht\u00eb greko-romake dhe stilit arkitektonik norman q\u00eb zot\u00ebronin Mario Rutelli dhe pasardh\u00ebsit e tij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ky stil k\u00ebrkonte p\u00ebrdorimin e gurit masiv natyror, i cili ishte nj\u00eb pjes\u00eb integrale e dizajnit strukturor. Dy statujat gjigante prej bronzi t\u00eb luan\u00ebve q\u00eb ndodhen pran\u00eb shkall\u00ebve monumentale n\u00eb hyrje t\u00eb teatrit u b\u00ebn\u00eb nga djali i Giovanni Rutelli-t, skulptori Sir Mario Rutelli, dhe Benedetto Civiletti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nd\u00ebrtimi filloi m\u00eb 12 janar 1874, por u pezullua p\u00ebr tet\u00eb vjet, nga viti 1882 deri n\u00eb vitin 1890. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund, m\u00eb 16 maj 1897, 22 vjet pasi u vendos guri i themelit, teatri i tret\u00eb m\u00eb i madh i oper\u00ebs n\u00eb Evrop\u00eb n\u00eb at\u00eb koh\u00eb u p\u00ebrurua me nj\u00eb shfaqje t\u00eb oper\u00ebs Falstaff t\u00eb Verdit, t\u00eb dirigjuar nga Leopoldo Munone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brend\u00ebsia u pikturua dhe u dekorua nga Rocco Lentini, Ettore De Maria Bergler, Michele Cortegiani dhe Luigi Di Giovanni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buste t\u00eb kompozitor\u00ebve t\u00eb famsh\u00ebm p\u00ebr teatrin u b\u00ebn\u00eb nga skulptori italian Giusto Liva, s\u00eb bashku me djemt\u00eb e tij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basile gjeti frym\u00ebzim n\u00eb arkitektur\u00ebn e lasht\u00eb dhe klasike siciliane, k\u00ebshtu q\u00eb pjesa e jashtme u realizua n\u00eb nj\u00eb stil t\u00eb lart\u00eb neoklasik, me element\u00eb t\u00eb tempujve grek\u00eb. Auditoriumi, i projektuar n\u00eb stilin e Rilindjes s\u00eb von\u00eb, fillimisht ishte planifikuar p\u00ebr 3,000 persona, por n\u00eb form\u00ebn e tij aktuale mban 1,381 vizitor\u00eb, me shtat\u00eb nivele kutish t\u00eb rregulluara rreth sken\u00ebs s\u00eb pjerr\u00ebt n\u00eb form\u00ebn tipike t\u00eb patkoit t\u00eb kuajve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00eb vitin 1974, teatri u mbyll p\u00ebr rinovime t\u00eb k\u00ebrkuara nga rregulloret e reja t\u00eb siguris\u00eb, por tejkalimet e kostove, korrupsioni dhe grindjet politike \u00e7uan n\u00eb vonesa t\u00eb m\u00ebdha dhe mbeti i mbyllur p\u00ebr 23 vjet. M\u00eb n\u00eb fund u rihap m\u00eb 12 maj 1997, vet\u00ebm kat\u00ebr dit\u00eb para 100-vjetorit t\u00eb tij.
