Presidenti Bill Clinton nuk ishte vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb mik i Kosov\u00ebs, por figura politike q\u00eb nd\u00ebrgjegjen morale t\u00eb bot\u00ebs demokratike e shnd\u00ebrroi n\u00eb veprim konkret. Pa Amerik\u00ebn, \u00e7lirimi dhe shtetformimi i Kosov\u00ebs do t\u00eb mbeteshin nj\u00eb mur i pap\u00ebrfunduar n\u00eb mjegull\u00ebn e historis\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Po aq e r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme \u00ebsht\u00eb t\u00eb kuptohet natyra e k\u00ebtij projekti historik: Per\u00ebndimi demokratik, i form\u00ebsuar edhe nga tradita e krishter\u00eb, nuk nd\u00ebrhyri p\u00ebr t\u00eb krijuar nj\u00eb shtet teokratik, por nj\u00eb republik\u00eb qytetare, laike, pluraliste dhe euroatlantike. Kjo nuk e mohon besimin e askujt; p\u00ebrkundrazi, e mbron at\u00eb nga keqp\u00ebrdorimi politik. Sht\u00ebpia e Kosov\u00ebs mund t\u00eb ket\u00eb shum\u00eb oda besimi, por duhet t\u00eb ket\u00eb vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb kulm t\u00eb p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebt: Kushtetut\u00ebn, lirin\u00eb dhe barazin\u00eb qytetare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prandaj, mir\u00ebnjohja ndaj SHBA-s\u00eb nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb n\u00ebnshtrim, por pjekuri historike; nd\u00ebrsa orientimi per\u00ebndimor nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb stoli diplomatike, por busulla e shtetit ton\u00eb.
